According to the Ministry of Health and the Cyprus Public Health Service (CPHS), the number of seasonal infection cases (influenza, COVID-19, RSV) is currently at expected levels and does not cause concern, with influenza vaccination coverage exceeding 55%. However, they warn of a possible increase in cases in the coming period due to increased social contact. They recommend adherence to individual protection measures, such as frequent handwashing, good ventilation of spaces, and the use of masks if symptoms appear. They also urge citizens to get vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19.
