Unexpected Mishaps at Istanbul Homelands' New Year's Pie Cutting Ceremony

The New Year's pie-cutting ceremony of the Istanbul homeland associations was marked by a series of unexpected incidents in the presence of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. Initially, a power outage occurred, causing disruption. Subsequently, the knife handed to the Patriarch to cut the pie broke, necessitating a replacement. Unfortunately, the second knife also proved unsuitable, as it bent during the process. These incidents, described as 'three bads' by SKAI's correspondent in Turkey, added an unpleasant note to the event.
