Cyprus: Loans Increase by €71.5m, Deposits by €330.8m in November

In November 2025, loans in Cyprus increased by a net amount of €71.5 million, while deposits rose by €330.8 million. The increase in loans was mainly due to loans to households (€50 million), while the increase in deposits was attributed to deposits from residents of Cyprus (€258.6 million). Overall, the outstanding amount of loans reached €26.8 billion and deposits €57.9 billion. Deposits from households and non-financial corporations increased by €176.4 million and €26.6 million respectively, while deposits from other domestic sectors increased by €55.7 million. The annual rate of change in deposits reached 6.7% and in loans 10.5%.
