The Police have launched an ex officio investigation into allegations of domestic violence involving the wife of a mayor, which were made public through social media by Ioanna Fotiou, also known as “Annie Alexui,” who is currently wanted. According to the Press Officer of the Police Headquarters, Christodoulos Konsolos, the authorities are collecting and evaluating evidence to determine any criminal liability and are investigating the leak of personal data. Louisa Andreou, the wife of the Mayor of Paphos, stated in a Facebook post that the wanted woman was targeting her husband, Phaedonas Phaedonos, and their family. She claimed that her family is under coordinated attack in order to politically harm Phaedonas Phaedonos, while defending her husband, emphasizing that they live harmoniously and there is no fear. The investigation focuses on both the alleged assault and the leak of sensitive personal data. The authorities are trying to determine the accuracy of the allegations and identify any involved parties.
