Crocs' Record Sales in Greece Amidst Global Struggles

Despite the difficulties faced by the parent company Crocs Inc. internationally, with losses and tariffs, 2ΧΜ Ελλάς, the official distributor in Greece, is showing impressive growth. In 2024, its turnover increased by 50.85% to 32.74 million euros, while net profits increased by 83.2% to 3.91 million euros. Crocs' success in Greece is attributed to the favorable climate, the casual clothing culture, and Gen Z's acceptance of practicality as a fashion element. In addition, collaborations with famous designers and Jibbitz have contributed to the brand's increasing popularity. However, customer prepayments have almost doubled, raising questions about explosive demand or potential pressures on the supply chain.
