Held Captive in a Thessaloniki Home, Ransom Demanded from Families – Including Three Minors

Three men, aged 23, 24, and 26, have been arrested in Thessaloniki for involvement in a ring trafficking migrants, kidnapping, and extortion. The arrested are accused of detaining six migrants, including three minors, in a house in Agia Triada. The migrants had entered the country illegally from Evros and were held against their will, with their money taken and scenes of physical violence recorded, which were sent to their families to demand ransom. The victims were released after the police operation, and the perpetrators are expected to be brought before the prosecutor.
