New Cold Front Approaching Cyprus: Temperature Drop and Snow Expected

A new cold front is expected to hit Cyprus, bringing a temperature drop and the possibility of snow in the mountains. Today, the weather will be partly cloudy with local showers, mainly in the mountains and west. Tonight, the showers will continue, mainly in the western half of the island, with the possibility of snow or sleet in the higher mountains. The temperature will drop significantly, reaching around 6 degrees Celsius inland, 9 degrees on the coast, and 1 degree in the mountains, where frost is expected. Tomorrow, showers will be localized and there is a chance of thunderstorms, while the temperature will rise to around 15 degrees Celsius inland and 18 degrees on the coast. The snow height at Troodos is already 28 centimeters.
