Kombos to Visit Egypt for Meeting with Counterpart and Trilateral with Greece

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Konstantinos Kombos, will travel to Egypt on Saturday for a bilateral meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty. The agenda will include strengthening Cyprus-Egypt cooperation, particularly in the energy sector, the Cypriot Presidency of the EU, EU-Egypt relations, the Cyprus issue, and regional developments. In addition, Mr. Kombos will participate in a Trilateral Summit with the Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Greece. The aim of the Summit is to further strengthen trilateral cooperation and discuss regional issues, as well as EU-Egypt relations. The Minister of Foreign Affairs' visit to Egypt underscores the importance of bilateral and trilateral relations for Cyprus, as well as the effort to promote stability and cooperation in the region.
