26th Thessaloniki Wine & Spirits Trophy: Call for Participation for Winemakers and Distillers from Greece and Cyprus

The 26th “Thessaloniki Wine & Spirits Trophy” competition will be held in Thessaloniki on February 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2026. The competition, which began in 1999, is open to winemakers and distillers from Greece and Cyprus, aiming to showcase the quality of their products. It is organized by ENOAVE AE, with the support of stakeholders in the wine industry, the State General Chemical Laboratory, and the Ministry of Rural Development and Food. The President of the competition is Master of Wine Konstantinos Lazaridis, and the judging panel consists of internationally renowned tasters, oenologists, and wine journalists. The evaluation of products is carried out using a blind and double-coded system, through a special online application to ensure integrity. Submissions for the 26th event will be accepted from January 5th to February 10th, 2026, with a special "early bird" pricing policy until January 23rd. Sample delivery will take place from February 2nd to February 13th, 2026. The competition provides for the awarding of medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) for each category of wine (white, rosé, red, sparkling, sweet, retsina) and spirits, as well as special awards for single-variety wines and the best spirits (ouzo, gin). The award-winning products are recognized by the trade and consumers.
