Kurti's Self-Determination Movement Wins Kosovo Elections

The Self-Determination Movement (LVV) led by Albin Kurti has secured a significant victory in Kosovo's parliamentary elections, winning nearly 50% of the vote with 95% counted. This result gives the LVV 57-58 seats in parliament, allowing Kurti to form a government with the support of smaller parties, potentially from minority communities. This percentage is higher than in the February elections, where Kurti's party received 49.95% of the vote. Other parties elected to parliament include the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 21.07%, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 13.85%, and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) with 5.83%. Serbs and other national minorities will each have 10 MPs. This victory is expected to end the ten-month political crisis in Kosovo.
