Varga Withdraws from Hungary Squad Due to Ankle Injury

Barnabas Varga has withdrawn from the Hungary national team squad due to an ankle injury. The injury occurred during an AEK match against Kifisia, but Varga joined the national team camp for further examination. The tests revealed a simple sprain, however, the Hungarian Football Federation decided to withdraw him as he would not be able to participate in training until the end of the camp. AEK is optimistic that he will be ready for the first playoff match against Olympiacos on April 5th. Hungary has added Vili Orban to the squad to replace Varga.
