Cyprus Ports Authority: Expansion of Latsi Port to Begin Within Six Months

The Cyprus Ports Authority has announced the start of work to expand the port of Latsi within the next six months. The project, estimated to cost 52 million euros, will increase the number of berths by approximately 184 and create 4,500 square meters of land-based support infrastructure, including boat maintenance areas, restaurants and offices. Latsi port will be the first 'green' port in Cyprus, with a focus on the circular economy and renewable energy sources. The necessary studies have already been submitted and approval from the General Accounting Office is expected for the tender to be announced.
