Students at an elementary school in Lakatamia, Cyprus, are facing difficulties due to the lack of an elevator, as children with mobility issues cannot access all areas of the school. The building, constructed in the mid-1980s, has not been renovated since and requires maintenance, fence replacement, and yard improvements. The House Education Committee visited the school following a letter from the Parents' Association and found a need for immediate work. The school board has assured that funds are available for the renovation, estimated to cost around €400,000, but the implementation of the projects is delayed.
