Two Arrests for Drugs in Larnaca and Limassol – 39-Year-Old Injured in Accident

The YKAN (Cyprus Drug and Addiction Control Unit) has arrested two individuals in the provinces of Larnaca and Limassol for illegal possession of drugs. In Larnaca, a 39-year-old was arrested following a traffic accident, during which 24 bags of methamphetamine, weighing approximately 14.7 grams, were found in his possession. He was also found to be driving without a license and insurance. In Limassol, a 24-year-old was arrested after a search of his home revealed 2.2 grams of cocaine and a precision scale. Additionally, €1875 was confiscated and will be investigated for potential links to drug trafficking. YKAN continues its investigations in both cases.
