An increase in cases of seasonal infections, such as influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), is being recorded at the Pediatric Clinic of Makarios Hospital. The clinic's director, Elena Papamichael, states that the hospital is on alert and ready to respond to a possible further increase in cases, in collaboration with other hospitals of the OKYPY. Currently, five children are hospitalized, one with RSV and four with influenza and comorbidities.
