Anarchist Attack on DIPA Offices in Limassol

The offices of DIPA in Limassol were attacked by a group of anarchists on January 10th, resulting in a broken glass door. The group, calling themselves “Anarchists Against Corruption,” claimed responsibility for the attack, linking it to a recent video circulating online alleging a corruption scandal. DIPA has already filed a complaint with the Police, who are investigating the political dimensions of the attack. The Deputy President of DIPA, Marinos Kleanthous, stated that the Police are treating the matter seriously and that no damage was done inside the offices. DIPA condemned the attack, emphasizing that political opposition should be conducted through arguments and democratic dialogue, not through violence and threats.
