Bank of New York Awards Bank of Cyprus with “STP AWARD 2025”

The Bank of New York has awarded the Bank of Cyprus the “STP AWARD 2025” for the fourth consecutive year, recognizing the high quality of its processes for executing wire transfers through the Swift system. The Bank of New York is one of the correspondent banks with which the Bank of Cyprus collaborates for US dollar transactions. The award was given to the Bank in recognition of the high percentage of transfers (98%) that were processed automatically without any non-automated intervention from the Bank of New York (Straight Through Processing). Ms. Despoina Kyriakidou, Head of Cash Management Department at the Bank of Cyprus, stated that “The Bank of New York is one of the largest American financial institutions with a global presence. The awarding of this award reflects the high quality of the Bank’s transactions and the trust shown by an international organization in our organization. Cooperation with the Bank of New York further strengthens the banking and financial services we offer to business, institutional and individual customers, both in Cyprus and abroad.”

Η Bank of New York απένειμε στην Τράπεζα Κύπρου το “STP AWARD 2025” για τέταρτη συνεχόμενη χρονιά, ως αναγνώριση της υψηλής ποιότητας των διαδικασιών που ακολουθεί για την εκτέλεση εμβασμάτων που εκτελούνται μέσω του συστήματος Swift.
Η Bank of New York είναι μία από τις ανταποκρίτριες τράπεζες με τις οποίες συνεργάζεται η Τράπεζα για συναλλαγές σε δολάρια Αμερικής. Το βραβείο απονεμήθηκε στην Τράπεζα αναγνωρίζοντας το υψηλό ποσοστό εμβασμάτων ( 98%) που πραγματοποιήθηκαν αυτόματα χωρίς να χρειαστεί οποιαδήποτε μη αυτοματοποιημένη παρέμβαση από τη Bank of New York (Straight Through Processing).
H Διευθύντρια Διεύθυνσης Διαχείρισης Διαθεσίμων της Τράπεζας Κύπρου, Δέσποινα Κυριακίδου, δηλώνει πως «η Bank of New York βρίσκεται ανάμεσα στα μεγαλύτερα αμερικανικά χρηματοπιστωτικά ιδρύματα με παγκόσμια παρουσία.
