Police Raid Barber Shops and Foreign-Owned Businesses in Limassol, Cyprus

The Limassol Police Department (ADE) conducted a coordinated operation to inspect barber shops and other businesses managed by foreigners in the province of Limassol. During the operation, it was found that four barber shops and one restaurant were operating without a license. Six people were arrested, three for illegal stay and three for illegal employment. Fines totaling 26,800 euros were imposed for undeclared work, and two businesses were reported for not issuing receipts. The checks will be intensified in the coming period.
