Ukraine Strikes Russian Lukoil Drilling Platforms in Caspian Sea

Ukrainian armed forces announced successful strikes against three drilling platforms belonging to the Russian oil company Lukoil in the Caspian Sea. The platforms hit were V. Filanovsky, Yuri Korchagin, and Valery Grayfer. According to the Ukrainian side, these facilities were being used by the Russian military to support its operations. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed. This attack represents an escalation of military operations and directly targets Russian energy assets.
