Tax Reform in Cyprus: Lower Taxes, Higher Disposable Income

The new tax reform in Cyprus has come into effect, aiming to reduce the tax burden and increase the disposable income of citizens, families, and businesses. The reform includes new tax brackets with a tax-free income of at least €22,000, tax allowances for children, incentives for energy upgrades of homes, the purchase of electric vehicles, and mortgage interest, as well as tax benefits for businesses, such as a reduction in tax on dividends. The reform aims to create a fairer, more modern, and efficient tax system, tailored to the needs of society and the economy.
