Strong Winds Expected Tonight – Warning from the Meteorological Department

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for very strong and temporarily gale-force winds, valid until 9 pm tonight. The winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly, with a force of 6 Beaufort, and temporarily reaching 7, affecting the western, northern, and locally the southern coasts. The sea will be up to rough and later rough to wavy, and locally wavy in the western and northern coasts. At the same time, the weather will be partly cloudy, with the possibility of isolated showers from tonight. Thin dust will be suspended in the atmosphere. The temperature will rise to around 12 degrees Celsius inland, around 15 on the coasts, and around 4 degrees in the higher mountains. For the next few days, partly cloudy weather is forecast with local showers and the possibility of snow in the higher mountains. The temperature will rise slightly until Friday, and then stabilize on Saturday.
