Beware! Malicious SMS Impersonating GESY Targeting Beneficiaries

The Health Insurance Organization (HIO) and the General Healthcare System (GESY) are warning beneficiaries about the circulation of malicious SMS messages that appear to originate from GESY. These messages mislead recipients by informing them that they need to follow a link to correct their personal details. The HIO emphasizes that it has no connection to these messages and that it will never request passwords, login details, payment information, or any other personal data via SMS. It also will not ask citizens to make any financial transactions through links. The public is urged to be particularly careful and to trust only official announcements and updates from the HIO. If you receive a similar message, it is recommended that you do not open the link and delete the message immediately.
