Cyprus Reacts to US Attack in Venezuela

The Republic of Cyprus has expressed its concern regarding the developments in Venezuela, calling for de-escalation, restraint, and respect for international law. Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kompos stated that Cyprus is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with the European Union and other partners, maintaining contact with the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell. Additionally, it was reminded that Cyprus' travel advisory to avoid travel to Venezuela remains in effect, and Cyprus is prepared to provide consular assistance to Cypriot citizens potentially in the country, in cooperation with its European partners.
