HOW THE 46-YEAR-OLD PATRICIDE IN GLYFADA WAS RELEASED 4 YEARS AFTER KILLING HIS MOTHER

The 46-year-old who murdered his father in Glyfada was released from prison four years ago, after serving 14 years for the murder of his mother. His release was based on the Paraskevopoulos law, which allowed prisoners who had served half of their sentence to be released. After his release, he was deemed dangerous to himself and others and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital for a period. He was released with restrictions, which he adhered to until the murder. According to ELAS, he had not been involved in any criminal activity since his release.
