Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Six Other Countries Join Trump's 'Peace Council'

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Qatar have accepted President Donald Trump's invitation to join his 'Peace Council'. According to a joint statement from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the United Arab Emirates, each country will complete its national legal procedures for formal accession. Trump's initiative, which includes invitations to numerous global leaders, aims to resolve international conflicts. However, diplomatic sources have expressed concerns that the council could undermine the role of the United Nations in global diplomacy and crisis resolution.
