Trade Deficit at €7.3 Billion – Annual Increase of €899 Million

Cyprus's trade deficit increased by €899 million in the first eleven months of 2025, reaching €7.3 billion compared to €6.4 billion in the same period of 2024. Total imports increased by 9.9% to €12.3 billion, while exports increased by 4.5% to €5 billion. However, in November 2025, imports decreased by 10.6% to €1 billion, while exports increased by 6.3% to €407.1 million. The decrease in imports in November was partly due to the reduced transfer of economic ownership of ships. These figures were published by the Statistical Service.
