Six Dead in Iran Protests Over Rising Prices

At least six people have been killed in Iran during clashes between protesters and security forces, as demonstrations erupt over rising prices and economic hardship. The protests began on Sunday in Tehran with a shopkeepers' strike and have spread to other cities. According to the state-run Fars news agency, two people were killed in the city of Lordegan and three in the city of Azna, while a security force member was killed in the city of Kuhdasht. Authorities have made arrests of individuals described as instigators.
