Fire Department on Alert After House Fire, Woman Hospitalized

The Fire Department was put on alert after a fire broke out in a house in the Paphos district on Wednesday night. The fire, which started around 10:00 p.m., caused damage to the house. A 52-year-old woman, who inhaled smoke, was taken to Paphos Hospital as a precaution for monitoring. The Fire Department managed to extinguish the fire, while the Police are investigating the circumstances that led to its outbreak. The case has been assigned to the Panagia Police Station. The authorities have not yet announced the cause of the fire, however, investigations are underway to determine whether it was caused by accident or arson. The woman who was taken to the hospital is being treated as a precaution and her health condition is not a cause for concern.
