The Greek Men's Water Polo National Team won the bronze medal at the European Championship, defeating Italy with a score of 12-5. This marks the first time in the competition's history that Greece has won a medal. The victory came after two previous attempts in 1999 and 2016, where the team finished fourth. The Greek team showcased excellent defense and offensive efficiency, with Manolis Zerdevas making 11 saves and Argyropoulos, Giouvetsis, Kakaris, and Kalogeropoulos scoring. This win comes just seven months after winning the bronze medal at the World Championship in Singapore, bringing their total to 18 medals in all competitions.
