Trump: 100% Will Impose Tariffs on European Countries if They Don't Sell Greenland

Former US President Donald Trump threatened to impose tariffs of 10% (increasing to 25%) on European countries, including the UK, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Finland, if they do not comply with his demand to relinquish control of Greenland. Trump did not rule out the use of military force to seize the island. Denmark has warned that such an action would mean the end of NATO, while the European Union has scheduled an emergency summit to address the threats. NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte stated that the Alliance will continue to cooperate with Denmark and Greenland on Arctic security. Simultaneously, exchanges of messages between Trump and the Norwegian Prime Minister were made public, in which Trump accused Norway of not being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
