Heavy Rainfall Causes Hazardous Conditions Across Cyprus

Heavy rainfall is impacting several areas of Cyprus, causing hazardous conditions and reduced visibility. Police have issued warnings to drivers to exercise extreme caution, reduce speed, maintain safe distances, and have their headlights on. The situation is particularly difficult on the Nicosia – Limassol highway near Pera Chorio, where visibility is severely limited. Reduced visibility and water accumulation on the roads are also reported in the areas of Lakatamia – Kokkinotrimithia.
