No Evidence of Foul Play in Russian Businessman's Disappearance - Witness Testimony Places Him in Pissouri

Investigations into the disappearance of Russian businessman Vladislav Baumgertner in Limassol are ongoing, but so far, there is no evidence of criminal activity. Limassol Assistant Police Director Lefteris Kyriacou stated that the disappearance was reported on January 7th and was followed by searches with the assistance of various services, including air assets, the Port and Marine Police, the CSED, and the British Bases. A witness account places Baumgertner in the Pissouri area on January 8th, where he allegedly arrived by taxi. Furthermore, the businessman's involvement in a serious case 13 years ago in Belarus was confirmed, however, it does not appear to be connected to the current disappearance. Police are examining Baumgertner's electronic devices for potential information.
