17-Year-Old Detained in Occupied Territories Over Armed Attack

A 17-year-old from Turkey has been placed under a three-day detention order in the occupied territories, accused of carrying out an armed attack on a car dealership in Nicosia. The other two suspects, also Turkish nationals, have been released. The 17-year-old faces serious charges, including attempted murder and illegal possession of firearms. According to the authorities in the occupied territories, the young man opened fire inside the store, injuring two people. Two pistols and 15 bullets were found in his possession. The case has raised concerns due to the involvement of a minor and the frequency of similar incidents involving paid hitmen from Turkey.
