25-Year-Old Arrested in Limassol for Illegal Possession of Drugs and Explosives

Members of the YKAN (Drug Squad) arrested a 25-year-old in Limassol for the illegal possession of drugs and explosives. During a vehicle check driven by the 25-year-old, a hand-rolled cigarette containing cannabis, a metal grinder with a small amount of cannabis, and a precision scale were found and confiscated. Following the arrest, a search was conducted at the 25-year-old's residence, where 220 grams of cannabis, 20 flares, a firecracker, and a military-grade cartridge were discovered and seized. The YKAN and Limassol TAE (Serious Crime Unit) continue their investigations to determine the origin of the drugs and explosives, as well as to ascertain whether the 25-year-old is involved in other illegal activities.
