31-Year-Old Doorman Died Saving People from Burning Bar in Crans Montana

A horrific fire broke out at a bar in Crans Montana, Switzerland, during a New Year's Eve party, resulting in the deaths of approximately 40 people and serious injuries to over 100. Among the victims is 31-year-old Serbian doorman, Stefan I., who, according to testimonies, showed heroism by attempting to save other patrons. Stefan, who had lived in Switzerland for 20 years and obtained Swiss citizenship, initially managed to evacuate several people from the burning building, but returned to help more, ultimately losing his life. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing, and 24 victims have been identified so far.
