Art and Public Space: A Lecture by Theodoulos Gregoriou at PSI

Artist Theodoulos Gregoriou will present a lecture entitled 'Optical Angles of the Mind and Soul: Art and Public Space' on Saturday, January 10, at the PSI Foundation in Limassol. The lecture will focus on a collection of public art projects he has implemented since 1982, both in Cyprus and abroad. Through the presentation of his works, Gregoriou will reflect on the role of public art in shaping everyday life, the citizen's right to unimpeded access to culture, and the application of the 1% law. He will highlight the challenges and prospects of the field, as well as the 'hidden life' of unfinished projects. The lecture will be delivered in Greek with brief explanations in English and French, within the framework of the exhibition 'From Nature to Structure: Threads of Dialogue' featuring works by Claude Como and Theodoulos Gregoriou. The exhibition is under the patronage of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026 and is supported by various organizations. Admission to the lecture is free upon reservation at info@psi.art. The exhibition is curated by Eudes Ajot, with assignment by Dimitri Ozerkov.
