“Attack” by Russia on Bartholomew over Ukraine: He has Nazi allies

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service is launching an attack on Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, accusing him of a policy supported by Western intelligence agencies regarding Ukraine. According to the Russian side, British intelligence services actively support the Patriarch's activities, promoting anti-Russian sentiment in Europe. Russia claims that Bartholomew has found common ground with nationalist and neo-Nazi forces in the Baltic countries, with the aim of creating discord within the Russian Orthodox world and detaching churches from the Moscow Patriarchate. Furthermore, it accuses the Patriarch of seeking to grant autocephaly to the Orthodox Church of Montenegro, harming the Serbian Orthodox Church. The Russian side characterises Bartholomew's stance as “aggressive” and expresses the view that he is dissolving the Body of the Church. The Russian service's announcement concludes with a parable, comparing Bartholomew to “false prophets” who are recognised by their “fruits”.
