Baby Formula Recall in Cyprus Due to Contamination

The manufacturer has voluntarily recalled three packages of baby formula from the Cypriot market due to potential contamination with cereulide, a toxin produced by the microorganism Bacillus cereus. The recalled packages are S-26 GOLD 1 400g (batch 51550346AE, expiry date 30/6/2027), NAN EXPERTpro SENSITIVE PLUS 400g (batch 51250742C1, expiry date 30/11/2026) and NAN EXPERTpro Lactose Free 400g (batch 51520346AD, expiry date 30/6/2027). The Health Services advise consumers who have these products to not use them and return them to the point of sale. Sales via the internet are also being checked. The Health Services have received relevant information from both the official representatives in Cyprus and the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF).
