During 2025, the integrated resort received a series of local and international awards
Since opening its doors in July 2023, City of Dreams Mediterranean has changed the tourism landscape in Cyprus, establishing itself as a landmark destination in the region and beyond.
As Europe’s first fully integrated casino resort, the property brings together luxury accommodation, entertainment, dining, wellness and sprawling event facilities, attracting both leisure travellers and international business visitors.
To date, City of Dreams Mediterranean has seen over 3.5 million visitors go through its doors while hosting more than 300 conferences, business meetings, corporate, and social gatherings in its versatile MICE facilities.
The resort’s entertainment offerings range from world-class casino gaming to live shows and music events featuring renowned artists and performers, positioning it as a leading entertainment hub.
“Our aim has always been to create a destination where every guest finds something exceptional, whether they are here to relax, dine, or entertain themselves.” Property General Manager of City of Dreams Mediterranean Mr Grant Jonhson said. “City of Dreams Mediterranean represents an integrated experience that elevates hospitality and entertainment standards in Cyprus and the wider region.”
The integrated resort’s success is reflected in a series of international and local awards, collected throughout 2025, recognising excellence across multiple pillars of its offering.
At the World Travel Awards 2025, the resort was named Europe’s Leading Casino Resort, Europe’s Leading Fully Integrated Resort and Cyprus’ Leading Conference Hotel, highlighting its ability to deliver a seamless experience that blends entertainment, hospitality, and gastronomy under one roof.
Wellness was another area where the resort received significant recognition. Renu Spa was named Best Hotel Spa (Country Level) at the International Spa & Beauty Awards 2025, while the World Spa Awards honoured the spa as Cyprus’ Best Resort Spa. These accolades reflect the resort’s offering on wellbeing, supported by the finest treatments, premium products, and tailored wellness programmes designed for short stays and longer retreats. The Resort also offers extensive sports facilities, including tennis and padel at the Marcos Baghdatis Tennis Academy, and access to a championship golf course through its partnership with Limassol Greens.
City of Dreams Mediterranean’s culinary range also drew attention in 2025. At the Golden Chef Hats Cyprus awards, the resort achieved the highest combined score among all hotels and restaurants in the country. Amber Dragon, the resort’s Asian fine-dining restaurant, received a Golden Chef’s Hat, while Prime Steakhouse and French restaurant Anaïs were both recognised as Top Notch venues, praised for their menu quality, execution and service standards. Prime Steakhouse also secured the Best Concept Award at the Cyprus Check In Awards, underlining its distinct identity within the luxury dining segment.
Recognition extended beyond dining and wellness to the overall guest experience. City of Dreams Mediterranean was named a Platinum Winner in the Casino Hotel category and a Gold Winner for Hotel & Conference Center at the Muse Hotel Awards 2025, while Tripadvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards listed the resort among the top-rated hotels in Cyprus based on guest reviews.
“These accolades highlight the resort’s growing presence in the region’s hospitality landscape. City of Dreams Mediterranean was created to be more than a resort — it is a destination that brings together entertainment, luxury, gastronomy, and sports in a truly integrated way,” Mr Johnson said.
