A cold air mass is expected to affect Cyprus from Monday, bringing with it low temperatures, local rains, isolated thunderstorms, and snow in the higher mountains. Already today, the weather is intermittently cloudy with local rains and snow in the mountains. The temperature today will range around 17 degrees Celsius inland, 19 on the coast, and 6 in the mountains. Tomorrow, Sunday, no significant change is expected, but from Monday it will begin to gradually fall, dropping below the average climatic values. The snow level in Troodos Square is already 4 centimeters. Winds will be southwesterly to westerly, moderate to strong, and the sea will be slightly rough to rough. Residents are advised to be prepared for the low temperatures and potential travel difficulties, especially in the mountains. The cold air mass is expected to remain in the area for several days.
