Concerns in Greek Police: Prison-Ordered Bombings on the Rise

Serious concerns are growing within the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) regarding the organization and execution of bombings by inmates from within Greek prisons. Despite security measures such as mobile phone jammers and drone surveillance, attacks continue, with the latest occurring at a bank in Evosmos, Thessaloniki. Authorities believe that 3-4 criminal organizations, both Greek and foreign, as well as anti-establishment individuals operating from prisons, are behind these attacks, recruiting petty criminals to carry out their orders. Issues with the operation of mobile phone jamming systems and potential attacks on prison staff that led to relaxed security measures are being investigated.
