Cup: Omonia Aradippou Reaches Quarterfinals for the First Time (Results and Schedule)

Omonia Aradippou achieved a historic qualification to the quarterfinals of the Coca – Cola Cup, eliminating Olympiacos 4-3 in extra time. The regular match ended in a 2-2 draw, with Olympiacos equalizing in the last minute of stoppage time. In extra time, Omonia overturned the score with two goals from Stavros Georgiou, who came on as a substitute. This is the first time in its history that Omonia Aradippou has reached this stage of the Cup. Along with Omonia, APOEL, Pafos FC, and Enosis Neon Paralimniou have already qualified. The schedule for the remaining matches of the Second Round is as follows: Apollon – Anorthosis (January 14th), Omonia Nicosia – AEK (January 14th), Nea Salamina – Digenis Morphou (January 21st), and Aris – AEL (January 21st).
