Cyprus Does Not Exclude Turkey, Says FM

Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos stated that Turkey is not excluded by the Republic of Cyprus, but Ankara has the option to remain self-excluded. Mr. Kombos emphasized the strengthening of Cyprus' international presence and the expansion of its collaborations, particularly with countries in the Middle East. He referred to efforts to build relationships with countries such as India, the United Kingdom, France, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Greece. He noted that Cyprus seeks to function as a bridge of stability between Europe and the Middle East, based on its comparative advantages and without illusions.
