Cyprus EU Presidency Launches Extensive Cultural Program in January

The Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU is launching a comprehensive Cultural Program in January, featuring events both in Cyprus and in 31 countries worldwide, with a focus on 11 countries for landmark interventions. The program includes art and photography exhibitions, concerts, and the decoration of buildings with works by Cypriot artists. The Inaugural Gala will take place in Brussels on January 21st, with a concert by Stavros Landsias. In Cyprus, renovated permanent exhibitions at the Cyprus Museum and the art exhibition “Agropoeitic: Soils/Bodies” at the State Gallery of Contemporary Art will be inaugurated. Simultaneously, art installations will be presented at Larnaca International Airport, and the art intervention “Encounters: The Worlds of Cyprus” will continue.
