Cyprus' First Lady Explains Absence from Control Committee

The First Lady, Philippa Karsera Christodoulidou, sent a letter to the Parliament explaining the reasons for her absence from the session of the Control Committee regarding the Independent Social Support Agency. Her absence had caused reactions. In her letter, she states that she had prior professional commitments, as she participated in a Ministerial Meeting within the framework of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU. Furthermore, she notes that she does not oppose the publication of all details of the Agency's donors and states her availability for further information in a subsequent session.
