Desperate Appeals from Relatives and Anxiety for the Missing After Fatal Fire in Crans Montana

Families and friends are desperately seeking information about their loved ones who were missing after the fatal fire at Le Constellation bar in the Swiss ski resort of Crans Montana. The fire, which resulted in 40 deaths and 119 injuries, is believed to have been caused by fireworks placed in champagne bottles. Swiss authorities anticipate that it may take days, or even weeks, to identify all the victims. Among the missing are 15-year-old Greek-Swiss Aliki Kallergis and 16-year-old Swiss Arthur Brodard, whose mother has made dramatic appeals for information on social media.
