OELMEK will discuss the issue at the Secretariat level on Monday, following a meeting with a representative of the Ministry of Education. Separately, the Ministry of Education informed OELMEK about the creation of 226 new positions in Secondary Education, with most of them being for philologists. Official announcements regarding the allocation of positions are expected from the Public Service Commission. The teacher evaluation process remains a significant topic of discussion, with organizations striving to determine the best possible approach to implementing the new system. Participation in the Monitoring Committee is considered crucial for exercising control and ensuring the proper functioning of the system. The creation of new positions is expected to contribute to meeting the needs of Secondary Education and improving the quality of education provided. The allocation of positions by specialty will be determined by the Public Service Commission, taking into account existing needs and priorities.
