European Commission College Holds First Session in Limassol Under Cypriot Presidency

The European Commission College held its first session under the Cypriot Presidency at the new Limassol port. The meeting was attended by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, members of the Council of Ministers, and European Commissioners. The agenda included a presentation of the Amalthea Plan, a bilateral meeting between Christodoulides and von der Leyen, and meetings between groups of Ministers/Deputy Ministers and Commissioners to discuss issues on the European agenda and the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency. The plenary session focused on cooperation between Cyprus and the EU during the Cypriot Presidency. A press conference followed, given by President Christodoulides and Ms. von der Leyen.
