ExxonMobil Targets Natural Gas Production in Cypriot EEZ Within the Next Decade

ExxonMobil is proceeding with the declaration of commerciality for Block 10 in the Cypriot EEZ, aiming to start natural gas production between 2030-2035. The company's Vice President, John Ardill, met with the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, to discuss future plans for Blocks 5 and 10. ExxonMobil expressed its desire to continue its successful operations in Cyprus, focusing on the development of the 'Glaucus' and 'Pegasus' reservoirs, estimated to contain a total of 6-9 trillion cubic feet. The company presented a plan to advance the reservoirs through a Declaration of Commerciality and received full government support.
