Greenland: No Chinese or Russian Vessels Nearby

Lieutenant General Søren Andersen, head of Denmark's Joint Arctic Command (JAC), stated that no Chinese or Russian vessels have been observed near Greenland, despite claims made by Donald Trump. Trump had expressed interest in purchasing Greenland, arguing it is strategically important to the US and did not rule out the use of force to acquire it. Denmark, responding to concerns, has increased its military presence on the island and taken defensive measures worth 6.5 billion euros. Andersen invited the US to participate in military exercises to be held in Greenland, but is unsure if they will accept the invitation. The JAC is responsible for Greenland's national sovereignty, conducting patrols and checks in the area.
